In 2005, in a rather controversial move among fans, Jason Todd returned under the pen of one Judd Winick. While the character has gone to evolve fairly drastically, under the pen of Grant Morrison he has returned to his Red Hood persona (though, with a brand a new costume). Now, Winick once again returns to the character to elaborate more on his return and origin as the Red Hood, and the first issue of this mini comes out today, with some fantastic artwork by Pablo Raimondi.

Judd Winick (BATMAN: UNDER THE HOOD) returns to write the adventures of Jason Todd in this special 6-part epic exploring the lost days of this misunderstood character. Learn what secret events led Jason on his eventual path of death and destruction. Guest-starring Ra’s al Ghul and Talia with amazing artwork by Pablo Raimondi (BATTLE FOR THE COWL: THE UNDERGROUND, X-Factor).

The issue is in stores right now for the prices of $.. Take a look behind the cut for a variant cover as well as a preview of the issue!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
