The current Venom title has had quite the rotating art team. Remender’s run on Venom began with Tony Moore, added Tom Fowler, and will feature Stefano Caselli in the 9th issue. Now, beginning in the 10th issue, Lan Medina (whom you may know from Castle: Deadly Storm) joins the title as the new ongoing artist, and for his first arc with Remender it’s Venom against the world!

As the arc begins, Venom is forced to go rogue due to the Crime-Master’s knowledge of his true identity, and after breaking a few rules is put right into the crosshairs of Captain America. This is, of course, very unfortunate for poor Flash Thompson, considering he and Steve Rogers just teamed up in Venom #8 to beat the Spider Queen.

Either way, it should be fun to see Remender play with Flash as a forced anti-hero, as opposed to the previous Venom Eddie Brock’s assumed role as an anti-hero. With Lan Medina on the book, you can be assured that it’s going to look pretty great — and the pages we have to show you only prove this further.

Marvel Press Release

It’s a brand new direction for Flash Thompson as artist Lan Medina (Castle: Richard Castle’s Deadly Storm) joins Rick Remender (Uncanny X-Force) in your first look at Venom #10! The identity of Venom is in the hands of the villainous Crime-Master and Flash will do anything to keep it from getting out — even if it means going rogue! That’s right, Venom has broken the rules and not only is he on the top of the Americas Most Wanted list, but Captain America’s out to get him. This December, America’s Secret Soldier goes against America’s Super Soldier in Venom #10!
