2020 marks 25 years since Garth Ennis first wrote Frank Castle in 1995’s “Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe,” and twenty years since he relaunched the mainstream version of the character’s own ongoing. We are pleased to present an exclusive preview of the latest entry starring his realistic, adults-only MAX interpretation of the character, “Punisher: Soviet” #5, the penultimate issue of the miniseries which has seen Frank taking on the oligarchy. And for you folks at work, don’t worry: it might be a MAX title, but there’s only one mild swear word in here.

Written by Garth Ennis
Art by Jacen Burrows
Inks by Guillermo Ortego
Colored by Nolan Woodard
Lettering by Rob Steen

Frank and Val have fought side-by-side against not only a Russian mob but also against the tide of history, and these issues will make you see The Punisher (and possibly the world) differently than you do now.

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and be sure to pick up a copy next week!
