After a number of years in the relative wilderness, Ta-Nehisi Coates has helped – along with a multi-million dollar blockbuster film – bring Black Panther back into the public consciousness. Aside from the main “Black Panther” title, we’ve had a number of miniseries and spinoffs delve further into T’Challa’s story. “Rise of the Black Panther” goes deep into T’Challa’s origin, presenting a new and definitive version of his story. Coates is assisting writer Evan Narcisse with the plotting, and Javier Pina (“Manhunter,” “Soldier Zero”) contributing art. We are thrilled to share an exclusive preview of the series’ final issue, which hits stores next week.
