“ROM” is one of the most beloved 1980s comics properties, and that, in and of itself, is a curious statement. That’s not a knock of the quality of the book, but rather the circumstances that led to the series is really odd: a licensed property in an era before many of them had actually great comics, for a property that was never all that popular outside of comics, that ran for 75 issues. IDW now has the license for the character, and they’ve been making the most of the opportunity thus far. We have an exclusive first look at the tenth issue of their new series, which comes out on May 17th.
