Announced today by Marvel, the company will be re-releasing the book that holds the Guinness World Record for best-selling book of all time, re-colored for the modern era.

What originally started as just a cover project has turned into a full 20th anniversary issue for fans. The book will be colored by Thomas Mason, the colorist of Sensational She-Hulk, who states this has been something he wanted to do for years. The book also comes with Jim Lee’s blessing according to Mason, and is set to come out later this year.

Check after the cut for some of the recolored pages.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
