Cry For Justice has been a rocky and polarizing event for fans, especially the end. With lots of death and lots of maiming, Roy Harper has been left in a terrible, terrible position: armless and in a coma. On the up side, he can never shoot heroine again. On the down side, though, his life is basically over. Now, everything within the Arrow family rests on the shoulders of JT Krul, and this week sees the kick off of Rise of Arsenal, a four issue miniseries chronicling Cry For Justice from Roy’s side, as well as it’s aftermath. Wouldn’t you know it, DCU’s The Source has put up a preview of the issue:

Written by J.T. KRUL; Art by GERALDO BORGES and MARLO ALQUIZA; Cover by GREG HORN; 1:25 variant Cover by MIKE MAYHEW

In JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRY FOR JUSTICE, Roy Harper lost everything at the hands of Prometheus, barely surviving the brutal severing of his arm. But when he finally awakens from his coma, Roy will find that his dangerous journey into despair is just beginning.

I’ve been a fan of Cry For Justice, although the recent stuff by Krul within this tie-in has been odd and full of awkward continuity. On the other hand, I’ve stuck with all of this so long, I’m going to see it through to the end. With a Green Arrow re-launch right around the corner, I’m really curious to see how this is all going to pay off. That and, considering I’m a Prometheus fan and he’s dead now, this is pretty much the last venue I have to see him kick some ass. Either way, keep your eyes peeled for a review of this from our very own Brandon Burpee.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
