Although she was only introduced in the comics 14 years ago, Shuri has become an integral and popular part of the Black Panther mythos, largely thanks to Letitia Wright’s winning performance in last year’s movie. It’s that version of the character currently headlining her own solo title, written by Nnedi Okorafor, and we are proud to present this exclusive preview of issue #6, from the guest creative team of writer Vita Ayala and artist Paul Davidson. The first in a two-part story, Ayala and Davidson’s arc features another recent Marvel film star, Miles Morales, and hits shelves March 13th.

At long last, Shuri faces her destiny. With her brother gone and Wakanda in peril, the Black Panther is needed. But the Princess of Wakanda is more than any mask — and she’s about to face a threat unlike any Wakanda has seen before. The start of a two-part story by guest creative team Vita Ayala & Paul Davidson!

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and be sure to pick up a copy next week!
