Over a year ago, J.J. Abrams, along with his son and co-writer Henry, and artist Sara Pichelli, introduced a new Spider-Man, Ben Parker, in the first issue of their “Spider-Man” series. The fifth and final issue, which sees Ben in the clutches of his mother’s killer, releases next week, and we are pleased to present an exclusive preview.

Ben Parker and his dad are cornered and surely beaten. Their allies that they thought could help them weren’t enough. The son of Mary Jane and Spider-Man has an unwinnable fight on his hands – have his absentee dad and dead mother taught him enough to know what Spider-Man does in these situations?

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and make sure to pick up the book – either safely in a store, or digitally – next week!
