The new “Spider-Man Noir” series is a stark contrast from David Hine, Fabrice Sapolsky and Carmine Di Giandomenico’s original 2009 miniseries (and not just because Tony Stark appears as a dashing spy); whereas that book was an ostensibly grittier, more down-to-earth take on the pre-war Marvel Universe, Margaret Stohl and Juan E. Ferreyra’s current take is much more evocative of the romantic pulp adventures of the era, taking the 1930s Peter Parker on an exotic, globetrotting adventure. We are pleased to present an exclusive preview of next week’s penultimate issue.

Written by Margaret Stohl
Art by Juan E. Ferreyra
Lettering by Travis Lanham

The drums of war continue to beat SPIDER-MAN NOIR down as he finds himself buried in the deserts of Babylon! Will the sands drown our hero, or will he withstand the hammering and save the day?

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and make sure to pick up the book – either safely in a store, or digitally – next week!
