Kieron Gillen has now been on “Star Wars” for just under a year, after writing “Darth Vader” for the first 25 issues under Marvel’s license. In that time, we’ve been all over the Star Wars universe, from Jedha to Mon Cala, and we’ve seen stories focused on Luke and Leia thus far.This continues ‘Hope Dies,’ the Leia-centric story, and brings her future husband, Han Solo, in the spotlight. This puts Han in an unfamiliar role – part of the rebel fleet! We are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at “Star Wars” #53, which hits your local comic shop on Wednesday, September 5th.
