Kieron Gillen has been involved with Marvel’s Star Wars comics since they regained the license, writing the “Darth Vader” series that filled the gap between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back from 2015 to 2017, and then taking over the main title from Jason Aaron to continue building towards the second film, albeit from Luke, Han and Leia’s perspective. We are proud to present an exclusive preview of next week’s “Star Wars” #63, which marks the second chapter of Gillen’s final arc, ‘The Scourging of Shu-Torun,’ bringing events full circle with characters introduced in his “Darth Vader” run.

THE SCOURGING OF SHU-TORUN: OPERATION VENGEANCE! KANCHAR returns, and he’s still got an amazing cybernetic arm. Does QUEEN TRIOS feel regret over all she’s done? Spoilers: She will soon, if LEIA has anything to do with it.

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and be sure to pick up a copy next week!
