For a while, Jason Aaron wrote “Punisher MAX” and all was well. It was a fantastic story set in one of the infinite amount of alternate universes Marvel has featuring a great iteration of the classic character between Aaron and artist Steve Dillon.
It is not likely that we will ever see the book again (a guy can dream, can’t he?), but in the meantime Aaron and Dillon are once again teaming up for a story about the Punisher, this time in the pages of “Incredible Hulk” for the new arc, ‘Stay Angry.’ The story finds the jolly green giant in some kind of drug war where he has to stay angry, like an even more steroid-fueled version of Crank, and this puts him in the crosshairs of the Punisher for some guns and violence.
Now we’ve got a look at a few pages for you:
Our only hope is that this arc is better than the last. For the full press release from Marvel, please check below.
