Steve Gerber’s Man-Thing Finally Sees Release In July [Preview]

Long ago, writer Steve Gerber wrote a Man-Thing story to cap off his work with the character that was never released by Marvel for whatever reason. (I honestly don’t know and haven’t been able to find online why.) Rumor has it that he was unhappy with his original ending to his Man-Thing story and went back to write a sequel to finish it out, although he died in 2008 and the script never saw fruition.

However, times have changed, and now Marvel is planning to release the three-issue “Infernal Man Thing” by Steve Gerber with art by Kevin Nowlan in July. Fans of the writer’s work with the caracter should get excited, because from the preview pages alone it looks pretty great.
