With its mix of fun adventuring, legacy, snark, and heart, “Super Sons” has been one of the most consistently enjoyable books of 2017. Peter Tomasi is, though not their creators, the writer with the most tenure writing both Jon Kent and Damian Wayne, and he imbues the book with so many perfect character moments that, sometimes, the action seems to get in the way of just spending time with these two kids. Jorge Jimenez has been doing excellent work on the series thus far, but will be sitting out issue #10, which we are thrilled to exclusively preview today. Jose Luis (“Red Tornado,” “Unity”) joins up with Tomasi for Wednesday’s issue, where we get a look at the new HQ for these two to operate from, as well as Jon’s newest superpower.
