It’s impossible to talk about “Original Sin” #7 without getting into widely available spoilers for the issue that you’ll find at every dime store and 7/11, so to be a bit helpful here for those of you not caught up for whatever reason, here’s the spoiler alert. I’ve left the censored cover to #7 as a buffer zone in case you wandered in here accidentally.
For everyone else, we have some stuff to show you.
So, “Original Sin” has been pretty insane — albeit in a great way. Our very own James Johnston has been recapping the series in Confession Booth, and if his various jokes don’t get across how truly fun this series has been due to the sheer insanity kept on every page, then I’m not sure what else will.
Except, perhaps, a new preview Marvel has just sent out that details the “final battle” of the Avengers against OG Nick Fury, who is… well, take a look:
Despite the previous issue leaving off with Fury inside his space station, he is now apparently out in the vacuum of space standing on a stray asteroid just firing in all directions, creating panels while doing so. Mike Deodato has done some great work in this series so far but out of everything we’ve seen I think this may just be my favorite. Also, what is going on with Spider-Man in the upper right hand corner there?
“Original Sin” #7 goes on sale August 13th, putting a bit of delay between the frequent publication of the series so far.
