It’s easy to forget, with all the attention given lately to Nickelodeon’s upcoming reboot Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that co-creator Kevin Eastman continues to plot out the characters’ adventures at IDW Publishing, almost 34 years after he and Peter Laird introduced them in their self-published comic. Since 2011, Eastman has co-written IDW’s ongoing with scripter Tom Waltz, and Multiversity Comics are pleased to share an exclusive preview of this week’s issue, which picks up on the Turtles – and their mentor Splinter – in the immediate wake of the devastating Triceraton Invasion.
