Quietly, the TMNT line of comics has been hoarding and developing some of the best artists in all of comics. Case in point: this issue of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe” #17 features both Giannis Milonogiannis (“Prophet,” “G.I. Joe”) and Michael Dialynas (“The Woods,” “Amala’s Blade”). This series along has had a murderer’s row of artistic talent, from Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman to Bill Sienkiewicz to Brahm Revel to Adam Gorham. That doesn’t even count the proper “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series or the various micro-series. Seriously, if you love comic art, you’ve got to be reading the IDW Turtles books. To that end, we are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at “TMNT Universe” #17, which hits your shelves, both digitally and in your neighborhood, on December 20th.
