Earlier this month, writer/editor Chris Robinson (editor behind books like “X-Men: Grand Design,” “Black Panther: World of Wakanda,” “The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl” and “Jim Henson’s Tale of Sand”) launched a Kickstarter for his collaboration with artist Marc Yarza (“Cinderella Annual: Bloody X-Mas”), colorist Steve Canon, and letterer DC Hopkins, “Werewolf Frankenstein.” The story features, you guessed it, a version of the classic Mary Shelly character who just so happens to be a lycanthrope. There’s also an Invisible Dracula, so c’mon now.
The Kickstarter has already reached its $4,000 goal, but it’s never a bad thing when creators get to make more money than expected on a project. To help entice you to check it out, we’ve got an exclusive first look at the book, which completes its Kickstarter cycle on September 1.

When Frankenstein’s Monster is bitten by a lycanthrope, he’s afflicted by the same curse–but because of his patchwork body, the change is not complete…he’s a Werewolf Frankenstein! Time is running out as lycanthropy spreads from limb to limb, organ to organ—before it eventually infects his brain and his humanity is lost for good!
