Tuesday wraps up the 2010s, a decade that has seen the comics landscape continue to grow and shift in ways both expected and totally from left field. The rise of digital comics, more reboots than you can shake a stick at, and the cancelling of many creators have made the decade an intensely interesting one, but also a troublesome and fractured one. Comics have never been as mainstream as they are right now, and that has brought both good and bad changes to the industry itself.
We want to know, in this final Reader Poll of the decade, which year was the best for comics?
When considering your options, try to take the longview. We’re not asking what was most exciting in the short term, or what garnered the most buzz. But looking back, which year produced the most good comics? The fun of this sort of an exercise is that a case can be made for any of them, really, but it’s fun to see what our readers think about this.
So, check back on Monday for the results, and enjoy your weekend!
