On Friday, we asked our readers to pick their favorite Robin to suit up next to Batman. We included the five ‘in canon’ Robins, as well as some of the more famous and/or important Elseworlds versions of the characters. Much to my surprise, only five Robins got a vote – the five folks that have worn the domino mask in continuity! That said, three of the Boy Wonders took in almost 93% of the vote, so clearly there are some favorites in the bunch.
Surprisingly coming in first is Damien Wayne, son of the Bat and the most recent Robin. An incredibly polarizing character initially, Damien has grown on people since his debut, and is currently headlining one of the most unique and fun books DC is publishing. Damien brought in 34.3% of the vote.
Coming in second with 30.5% is Tim Drake, the Robin of the 90s and, sort of, kind of, today. Tim, known for his detective skills, is a personal favorite, though not who I would’ve voted for in this competition. I would’ve had to go for the original, which is what 27.6% of y’all did, and voted for Dick Grayson.
