On Friday, we asked who your favorite ‘saint’ in all of comics is. Internal Multiversity discussions thought that the “Preacher” character Saint of Killers would have topped the bill, but we were wrong! Our readers seemingly quite fondly remember the Geoff Johns era of “Green Lantern,” and with 45.5% of the vote, canonized Saint Walker as the best saint in comics.
The Blue Lantern, whose primary abilities are to heal and to boost the powers of Green Lanterns, was briefly a Justice League member, but hasn’t been seen in some time. Saint of Killers did come in second, with 24.2% of the vote. This, too, is a character that hasn’t been seen in some time. Come to think of it, a lot of these characters are sorely missed. Bring back the saints!
Coming in third was Saint Seiya, for whom there is a new Netflix anime, came in a distant third with 15.2% of the vote. Interestingly, no other character got more than 2 votes, with only Pyro (St. John Allerdyce) getting two votes, and the rest getting one apiece.
