On Friday, we asked our readers to pick their favorite of the ‘Dawn of X’ debut issues from its first wave. Of the six series to debut, our readers selected “Marauders” #1 as their favorite first issue. 35.2% of our readers voted for the Gerry Duggan/Matteo Lolli joint, which sees Kitty Kate Pryde leading a group of seafaring mutants on a trip to liberate fellow gifted folks.
In second place was “X-Men” #1, the flagship title by Jonathan Hickman and Leinil Francis Yu with 18.8%. Barely behind it was Ben Percy and Joshua Cassara’s “X-Force” with 17.8%.
What is really interesting is that, yet again, the Hickman X-Men books engage our readers like little else. Over 200 of our readers voted this week! There is a lot of passion coming to and from these books right now, and we love how enthusiastic y’all are about these titles!
