On Friday, we asked which of the newly announced Best Jackett titles coming from comiXology Originals/Dark Horse was the one our readers were most eagerly anticipating. While the voting was relatively tight, three series stood out among the others among our readership. Unlike many of our polls, every single choice got at least one vote, which shows how eagerly anticipated these books are.

Coming in first place with 25.6% was “Night of the Ghoul,” the title the reunites “Detective Comics” team of Scott Snyder and Francesco Francavilla for a horror story involving an old film print. The book sounds fantastic (and has been teased for a long time now) and anytime Francavilla does interiors, it’s a good time to shut up and read.

Second place went to “Clear,” which unites New 52 DC creators Snyder and Francis Manapul for a book about our world being viewed through AI filters. The book garnered 20.9% of the vote. Third place, with 18.6%, went to the Snyder/Tula Lotay historical story “Barnstormers.”
