On Friday, we asked what show should be the next to binge, this week focusing on Disney+ offerings. Unlike last week’s absolute trouncing, we had a closer race this week, though one series was still the clear favorite. 29.4% of our readers voted for Agent Carter, the series that spun out of Captain America: The First Avenger. The character of Peggy Carter has continued to be a cornerstone piece of the larger Captain America story, culminating in Avengers: Endgame.
Coming in second is a sentimental favorite for fans of a certain age, of which I am one. X-Men, the 1992 series that first introduced millions of kids to Charles Xavier, Rogue, Gambit, and, of course, Morph, came in second with 17.6% of the vote.
Rounding out the top 3 is Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, erroneously listed as Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Mortals, because you can take the boy out of writing a Captain Marvel/Shazam column, but you can’t take a love of Fawcett characters out of the boy. The series is a very well received, all-ages, take on the iconic team.
