On Friday, we were talking Fantastic Four, or rather, the various lineups of the Fantastic Four that weren’t made up of the classic Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben lineup. There were way more than I had initially realized, but regardless of the choices, nearly 1/3 of our readers picked the same lineup as their favorite.

32.8% of our readers selected the Scott Lang Ant-Man, She-Hulk, Ms. Thing, Medusa lineup of Matt Fraction and Mike Allred’s Marvel NOW! title “FF” as their favorite alternate lineup. It’s hard to find fault in that argument, the series was a ton of fun, and showcased a very different tone for Marvel’s First Family.

In second place was one of my favorite teams as a kid – I cherished my copies of “Fantastic Four” #347-349 – the ‘New’ Fantastic Four of Wolverine, Hulk, Spider-Man, and Ghost Rider. This was the intelligent Grey Hulk and the Danny Ketch Ghost Rider, two of the characters from the early 90s that are most indelible to me. 20.7% of you voted for this squad.

And, finally, in third place was another team that went by “FF:” the Future Foundation. After the ‘death’ of Johnny Storm, Peter Parker joined Reed, Sue, and Ben, along with Franklin, Valeria, some aliens and, yes, even Doctor Doom, to form the Future Foundation. This is one of the key moments of Jonathan Hickman’s Fantastic Four saga, and is a wonderful read if you haven’t done it yet.

Thanks for voting everyone, and check back on Friday for our next poll!
