On Friday, we asked which of the Phase 5 offerings from Marvel y’all are most excited about. 34.8% of you answered that the new 18 (!) part Daredevil: Born Again Disney+ series was your most anticipated part of Phase 5. This is both surprising and not. On one hand, Cox’s Daredevil was well-received (as was all of the Netflix casting. The stories…not so much), and this means a core, fundamental character is returning to the MCU in a very real way. On the other, it’s a little surprising to see folks thinking that the problems that the Netflix series had will suddenly disappear at Disney+, though it seems like the Disney+ shows are mostly Jeph Loeb-free.
15.2% of you are Gunnheads, and can’t wait for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The reason this surprised is because of how flat and lifeless their contributions to Thor: Love and Thunder were. It’s hard to imagine anyone seeing those scenes and saying “I want more of that!,” but I also recognize that there is a lot more good GotG stuff than bad.
Tied for third place were three projects: Loki season 2, The Marvels, and Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania with 10.6%.
