On Friday, we asked which of the upcoming releases from Bad Idea was the one that sounded best to you. Now, our reader poll engagement varies quite a bit, with some weeks getting hundreds of responses, and others considerably less than that. However, in the years doing these polls, this was one of the lowest engaging topics we’ve ever had. I am not sure if that is due to the general unavailability of Bad Idea books, the fatigue at their business plan, or just a general lack of interest in these particular titles. Regardless, folks did vote, so let’s get to those results.
Coming in first was Matt Kindt and Ramon Villalobos’s “They’re All Terrible,” garnering 35.7% of the vote. This was the clear favorite, and it’s no surprise, as bot Kindt and Villalobos had been announced as having Bad Idea titles in the offing. Second place went to “The Ends” by David and Maria Lapham with 21.4%. Tied for third were “Burning Man” by Peter Milligan and Juan José Ryp and “Orc Island” by Joshua Dysart and Alberto Ponticelli.
Come back Friday for our next Reader Poll!
