On Friday, we asked which character to either carry the ‘Wonder’ title or hail from Themyscira was our readers’ favorite, aside from Diana, aka Wonder Woman. While we tried to put up a list that combined fan favorites with ‘important’ characters from the comics, sometimes there are just clear favorites, and there’s nothing you can really do about that.
And so it is in that spirit that Donna Troy collected 44.8% of the vote. Now, I love Donna, she’s a classic DC character, but she’s also got one of the most confusing backstories and more bad stories about her than good ones. But still, nearly half of those polled put her at number one.
Coming in second with 20.7% was the newest addition to the Wonder family, Yara Flor. This character’s debut in ‘Future State’ was a lot of fun, and while her series has been building to something interesting, it is a little slow moving at the moment.
Tied for third are Cassie Sandsmark and Hippolyta, both with 13.8%.
