On Friday, we asked our readers what Fall-debuting comics or comics-ish show they are most excited about. There were a bunch of interesting answers, but four series rose to the top.
The clear favorite of our crew was Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, the anime adaptation of the Bryan Lee O’Malley series and, specifically, a follow up to the Edgar Wright Scott Pilgrim vs the World film, with the full cast returning, including Michael Cera as Scott, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona, and Jason Schwartzman as Gideon Graves. It drops on November 17th.
In second place is the second season of Loki, returning on Disney+ on October 5th with six episodes. Tied for third place is the second season of Amazon Prime’s Invincible (November 3rd) and the Dr. Who 2023 specials, which begin in November. Both got 16.2% of the total.
