On Friday, we asked our readers how they felt about DC’s online convention/hype-fest/fan experience Fandome going away. Fandome was always a little odd, as it was neither fish nor fowl; it wasn’t fan-driven and programmed, but it also wasn’t really a convention. It was focused on all parts of DC’s media platform, but at times felt like certain areas were totally ignored. It was not widely considered as either a great success or a terrible failure, and our readers more or less agreed with that assessment.

43.3% of our readers said they would not miss Fandome now that it has disappeared. 33.3% said they would miss being a part of Fandome. 23.3% chose the inside joke option I created to make exactly 4 people laugh. I think there is no greater representation of what Fandome was than this exact ratio: about a third of DC fans really enjoyed this, almost half didn’t care for it, and it was a joke for the rest. It is nice when science plays out the way you theorized it would.

Check back on Friday for our next Reader Poll!
