On Friday, we asked you to decide which of DC’s ‘Future State’ titles worked best in week 1 of DC’s newest event. While initial votes were quite close, over the weekend, our winning title opened up a commanding lead, and never looked back. Yara Flor, ladies and gentlemen!

“Future State: Wonder Woman” #1 ran away with 47.8% of the vote and, honestly, this would’ve been where the smart money was anyway. Joëlle Jones absolutely killed it on this book, crafting an unique and interesting story with humor, intrigue, and some of the best art we’ve seen from her already impressive career.

Second place went to “Future State: Swamp Thing” #1 which was the only book from the first week that was likely to issue any challenges to “Wonder Woman.” The book was rich and appropriately scary, and is a nice preview for what Ram V and Mike Perkins’s upcoming 10-issue limited series with the character will be like.

Third place went to “Future State: The Next Batman” #1. This, again, is the correct order from our readers, as “The Next Batman” had a lot of good stuff in it, but fell a little short of its two main competitors.

Check back on Friday for the same question for week 2 of ‘Future State!’
