On Friday, we asked which character from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad had a special place in your heart. Now that you’ve (hopefully) seen the movie, let’s dig into this.
More than a third of our readers hailed to the king, baby. King Shark clearly took first place with 38.8% of the vote. This is no surprise, as the Sly Stallone voiced character has been receiving a ton of praise thus far and, also, he’s a giant shark. What’s not to fall in love with?
In second place comes John Cena’s character, already set for a spin-off series, Peacemaker. Cena got 12.2% of the vote, which honestly shocks me, as I thought we couldn’t see him.
[ducks trash, stands by my jokee]Coming in third is the old favorite, making her third appearance as the character, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. She was one of the few redeeming qualities of the first Suicide Squad film, and was fantastic in Birds of Prey, so this isn’t exactly a shocking choice.
