On Friday, we asked our readers which of the nine anime-inspired episodes of Star Wars: Visions were their favorite. While six episodes got votes, three were clearly the top choices of our readers.
Coming in first place was “The Ninth Jedi,” which had the series’ best misdirect and also some of the coolest lore introduced. It is one of the five or so stories that is just begging for future stories set around it. 34.6% of our voters chose “The Ninth Jedi.” 11 points behind it was “The Duel,” with 23.1%. This was the pre-release pick, as Lucasfilm was so excited about it that it published a tie-in novel, Ronin, before the series debuted.
Coming in third was the Village Bride, which received 19.2% of the responses. I am personally surprised that “Lop & Ochō” didn’t get more votes, and am not surprised, though a bit disappointed, that “Akakiri” did not get a single vote.
Check back on Friday for our next Reader Poll, and let’s hope that there is more Star Wars: Visions in our future.
