On Friday, we asked our readers to weigh in on their favorite member of the Shazam/Marvel family. While some of the family members have already appeared on screen in Shazam, Black Adam, or Shazam: Fury of the Gods, others have not shown up just yet. Our readers went with a family member that is more strange, wonderful, and underused than any other in the Marvel family.

That’s right: they went with Tawky Tawny.

Not only did they choose the talking tiger in the top spot, but with 42.9 percent of the vote, they more than doubled the next closest competition. While it is obviously difficult to incorporate a lot of the sillier aspects of the Fawcett-era of the Marvel family into both comics and film, Tawny needs to be a bigger part of Shazam stories – ya hear me, Mark Waid?

Mary Marvel Batson Bromfield came in second with 17.9%, and the other two principle members, Billy Batson and Freddy Freeman tied with 14.3%.

Check back on Friday for our next Reader Poll!
