On Friday, we asked our readers which of the various cinematic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films was their favorite. While it’s a little disappointing because some of the non-theatrical movies are really good, it’s not really surprising that our readers have selected three of the Turtles films they’ve seen on the big screen as their favorites.
In the top spot is the original, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), which garnered 33.3% of the vote. While I am still a little sour from having Casey Jones take his mask off like five seconds into the film, it’s hard to argue against this movie.
In second place is this year’s new animated feature, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem which 23.8% of our readers selected as their favorite. Rounding out the top three with a chant of “Go Ninja, go Ninja, go!” is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze with 14.3%.
