On Friday, we asked our readers to vote on which iteration of the Ultimate Universe they enjoyed the most. This was a question that we thought may have a lopsided vote tally. We were correct.
79.3% of our readers wanted to recognize the original, voting Ultimate Marvel 1.0 their favorite of these universes. Honestly, it would be weird if any other era got even close to this one, and trust it, they didn’t. 10.3% went with Ultimate Comics Reborn, 6.9% opted for Ultimate Comics, and a lowly 3.4% went for Ultimate Marvel NOW!. That said, I respect the folks who are stans enough for their particular era that they voted against the critical and commercial juggernaut that was the original Ultimate Marvel.
When we do this poll in a couple of years, when we’ve got at least one more Ultimate version, I can’t imagine the results will be too different. But hey, you never know!
