On Friday, we asked our readers which era of Valiant Comics was their favorite. Of the four eras, I had a suspicion that the current era would come in last, and I was correct, with not a single vote received for the post-‘Valiant Entertainment’ era.
And, as predicted, the ‘Valiant Entertainment’ era of 2012-2018 came in first place, with a staggering 87.9% of the vote. This era was really a special one, with the right combination of behind the scenes talent, top-tier creators given space to work, and the most relatable and interesting versions of these characters ever produced.
In second place with 9.1%, also as predicted, was the original, ‘Voyager Communications’ era which featured both Jim Shooter and Gold Key characters and laid the foundation for everything that would come in the future. In third was the Acclaim era with 3%.
