On Friday, we inquired about your feelings on Wonder Woman 1984 moving to HBO Max. There have been lots of opinions out there on what exactly this means for future DCEU films, as well as for HBO Max as a steaming service. For our readers, however, it was much ado about nothing.

60.9% of you felt that the decision was unlikely to have any long-term effects and is simply a product of the COVID-19 pandemic and unlikely to affect anything beyond a vaccine. This is likely, at least partially, correct, as the pandemic has changed how just about all of us live and work, and everyone is hoping to get back some sort of ‘normal’ in the not-too-distant future.

21.7% feel that this is part of an industry-wide shift to streaming as the primary delivery method for entertainment. While it is tough to argue that when Disney flat out said that, but it’s worth noting that Disney doesn’t speak for the industry at large.

17.4% saw this as evidence that AT&T is high enough on DC’s properties to use it as a recruitment tool for HBO Max. Not a single voter felt this was a bad sign for either the film or the DCEU as a whole.

Check back on Friday for our next Reader Poll!
