On Friday, we asked our readers which of the upcoming DC Studios films or television shows they are most excited about. ‘Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters’ encompasses ten projects, but three shows rose above the fray to encompass our top choices. While the choices were not quite the most esoteric options, the biggest names available were not the most selected.
In first place is the reportedly ‘horror’ themed Swamp Thing film with 22% of the vote. Coming up next is, quite surprisingly, the film based on the Authority, with 19.5%. It is amazing how high this places, not because of the Authority not being cool, but just because of the name recognition factor. In third place with 12.2% is the adaptation of Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.”
