On Friday, we asked our readers which of the Star Wars: Visions episodes from season two as their favorite. A few notes before we reveal the winner: all nine episodes got at least one vote, which is a very rare, and nice, thing to see in one of our polls. Also, it was interesting to see that the only episode that didn’t get multiple votes, “The Bandits of Golak,” was the one that felt the most like pre-existing Star Wars material, which means that folks want to see new ideas and new directions from Star Wars, which is affirming to how I feel about the franchise.
Sadly, however, my favorite episode, “Screecher’s Reach,” did not make the top three. Taking the top spot was “Journey to the Dark Head,” a story all about balance, trust, and prophecy took first place, with 22.9%. In second was “Sith,” the first episode of the season, and one of the most visually unique episodes, with 17.1%. Rounding out the top three was “The Spy Dancer,” a story of espionage and family, with 14.3%.
