On Friday, we asked our readers to pick their favorite television series based on a comic book from the past year. There were, frankly, too many options for them to choose from, but four shows stood out among the rest.
Coming in at the top spot with 25.9% of the vote was Disney+’s WandaVision. This is a tv show somewhat about tv, so it makes sense that if you’re someone who enjoys watching television, that this would give you an extra boost of enjoyment.
Tied for second place were two very different shows, HBO Max’s live action Doom Patrol and Amazon Prime’s animated Invincible, each garnering 17.2%. Both shows leaned into the source material’s particular quirks and allowed the show to be its own unique entity. Third place went to Loki, another Disney + title, with 12.1% support.
