On Friday, we asked our readers to vote on their favorite story featuring Frank Castle, aka the Punisher. While the voting was bunched up on the bottom, one story was clearly the choice of our readers. The first volume of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s ‘Marvel Knights’ era “Punisher” run, ‘Welcome Back, Frank,’ took home the top spot. 41.4% of the readers picked this story as their favorite.
Three stories tied for second place : “Born” by Garth Ennis and Darrick Robertson, “Punisher MAX” by Jason Aaron and Steve Dillon, and “Daredevil” #183-184 by Roger McKenzie and Frank Miller. All three stories got 13.8% of the vote. The most recent story to garner votes was the Rick Remennder/Daniel Way-penned ‘Frankencastle,’ with 10.3%, came in third.
