This week on Chuck, we have Chuck taking a lead role on a mission at multiple points for the first time and the development of the love quadrangle. Plus, Chuck may have broken Morgan’s heart.

Synopsis: Shaw finds himself on a mission to steal a rare mask that hides another Ring secret, but when the mission goes south Chuck is called in to save the day…along with new love interest Hannah (Kristin Kreuk) and Shaw’s potential new love Sarah.
Meanwhile, Morgan and Ellie try to find out what is going on with Chuck and contemplate an intervention.
What Was Good: Can I just say I love Kristin Kreuk? I could not stand her at all in Smallville, but she is so damn adorable in this show. I find myself rooting for Chuck to ditch Sarah and just go all in for the Hannah camp. This episode was great for them, as it started with jealousy and ended with Chuck saving her life and earning her adoration back.
There were some great lines, but the one that really stood out was Chuck saying Shaw (Brandon Routh) was “all Superman-y.” Nice.
Shaw and Sarah have a very natural chemistry as well, and they really help balance out the team.
Morgan and Ellie really have a lot of fun times in this episode, and I really enjoy seeing the two of them work together. While it is very sad, Morgan seeing Chuck and Hannah together could take his relationship with Chuck down some interesting paths.
I loved the reveal of the Ring Tribunal at the end of the episode. It was very Battlestar Galactica. When do we get to see who the final five are?!
What Was Bad: Here’s my biggest concern: so much of everyone else, not enough Casey! Casey is arguably the funniest character on the show and someone that helps balance out the whole show. They need to remember him as he is necessary to provide a little more of the non-romantic angles of the team.
Overall: All in all, another damn good episode from Chuck after a slightly weak episode last week. Now that we had the first appearance of the Ring Tribunal and some forward movement in the budding love quadrangle, we are fortunate enough to get a month break from the show. And by fortunate, I mean not fortunate at all. Chuck returns March 1st…it can’t come soon enough.
