Only two week’s away now, AMC is ramping up their contributions to the Walking Dead Season 2 excitement train with new cast portraits and now a brand spaking new trailer for the upcoming season. While AMC has been putting out brief 15-30 second spots on their network (particularly during the airing of new episodes of Breaking Bad), the new trailer gives us a much better look at what to expect from the new season, with a lot of emphasis on the broken down highway scene we’ve seen teases of before (which will, most likely, be in the season premiere).
The new season begins October 16th (the last day of New York Comic Con!) at 9 PM EST, and like the premiere of the first season it has a 90-minute running time. This season will run twice as long as th efirst, clocking in at 13 episodes, and one can only imagine what horrors are in store for the characters.
