One of the first TV shows we chose to cover at Multiversity was The Walking Dead. However, over the course of the show’s run, we’ve had, shall we say, difficulties keeping our reviewers. One left the site to start his own gig (hi David!), one just couldn’t take it anymore, but still contributes (wassup Greg?), one had to step away due to a busy workload (hope to see you back Kirsten!), and one just straight up ghosted us. I won’t shout him out, because that’s not cool.
In all of the things our site regularly covers, nothing has been more of a chore than Walking Dead coverage. We’ve been scratching our heads over this, but seem to have come to a conclusion: most of the comic readers that we know no longer watch the show. And since we are staffed by comic readers, our writers don’t watch the series.
But our readers are also comic readers, and so we want to know: is this something you want us to keep doing? If so, how would you like to see it done? If you’re interested in writing for us, we are always taking submissions, so if you’re reading this and thinking “Hey, I’d really like to write about the show!,” let us know.
