To celebrate our “20 Years of Hellboy” art contest, which gives every fan with some ambition and a modicum of artistic talent a chance to have their work published in an upcoming Mignolaverse issue, as well as take home some sweet prizes, we decided to bring in some ringers, to show us how they interpret everyone’s favorite kind-hearted devil spawn.  We will be posting pieces each day for this entire month, so enjoy our 31 Days of Hellboy!

Dennis Culver is the co-creator (along with Chris Roberson) and artist of the Monkeybrain series “Edison Rex,” which you can pick up via ComiXology. If you’re more of a print person, Volume 2, “Heir Apparent,” is in stores today. Also in stores today is the first part of Dennis’s “Dark Horse Presents” story, “Davey Jones and the History of the Monocle Men,” which he both wrote and drew. He also maintains one of the greatest sketch journals on the internet, and is a consistently entertaining presence on Twitter (@dennisculver). Please check out his deviantArt page and his website.
