To celebrate our “20 Years of Hellboy” art contest, which gives every fan with some ambition and a modicum of artistic talent a chance to have their work published in an upcoming Mignolaverse issue, as well as take home some sweet prizes, we decided to bring in some ringers, to show us how they interpret everyone’s favorite kind-hearted devil spawn. We will be posting pieces each day for this entire month, so enjoy our 31 Days of Hellboy!

Riley Rossmo is a Canadian treasure, who is currently illustrating “Curse” for Boom! and “Drumheller” for Image – you read that right, he’s doing two monthly books. Riley has done a number of Image series (“Bedlam,” “Green Wake,” “Dia De Los Muertos,” “Cowboy Ninja Viking,” “Proof,” “Rebel Blood”), and recently did both an installment of DC’s Digital “Adventure of Superman” title and a brief run on Valiant’s “Harbinger.” His other credits include an 8-issue run on Marvel’s “Daken: Dark Wolverine,” and various covers and fill in spots for IDW and Image books. You can follow him on Twitter (@rileyrossmo1) or visit his website for a nice gallery of his prior work.
And, just like last year, Riley gave us two pieces to run so feast your eyes on this:
