To celebrate our “20 Years of Hellboy” art contest, which gives every fan with some ambition and a modicum of artistic talent a chance to have their work published in an upcoming Mignolaverse issue, as well as take home some sweet prizes, we decided to bring in some ringers, to show us how they interpret everyone’s favorite kind-hearted devil spawn. We will be posting pieces each day for this entire month, so enjoy our 31 Days of Hellboy!
Wes Craig is the Montreal-based artist and co-creator of “Deadly Class” with Rick Remender. Before launching his creator-owned title at Image, Craig was best known for a run on “Guardians of the Galaxy” with DnA,”T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents” with Nick Spencer and “Touch” with John Francis Moore. He recently did an arc for the Batman digital-first title “Legends of the Dark Knight,” as well as its Superman counterpart, “The Adventures of Superman.” Wes is also the creator of BlackHand Comics, a website featuring new, online, comic strips.
