Guardians of the Galaxy is coming August 1, and July is going to be a celebration of all things Guardians AND a special benefit art month for Bill Mantlo here at Multiversity. All month, we’ll be posting Guardians-related pieces created by some of our favorite artists, and at the end of the month there will be an auction of many of the pieces of original art to help the man who created Rocket Raccoon, Bill Mantlo. It’s going to be an exciting month, but you can help Bill even if you don’t bid on any art. Read more about Bill and his story here, and if you feel moved to donate to Bill yourself, you can do so by clicking here.

Dennis Culver is the co-creator (along with Chris Roberson) and artist of the Monkeybrain series “Edison Rex,” which you can pick up via ComiXology. If you’re more of a print person, the first two volumes have been collected in trade paperbacks. He also recently had a story in “Dark Horse Presents,” “Davey Jones and the History of the Monocle Men,” which he both wrote and drew. He also maintains one of the greatest sketch journals on the internet, and is a consistently entertaining presence on Twitter (@dennisculver). Please check out his deviantArt page and his website.
If you are a professional artist interested in donating a piece for the auction, please email brian@multiversitycomics.com or david@multiversitycomics.com for more details.
